PUBLIC ART PROJECT – IN PROGRESS
Rives scintillantes
Public artwork – inauguration 2025
Place-Saint-Henri subway station, Montreal

Window onto the natural world, Rives scintillantes aims to mark and honor the importance of water and plants in the past and future development of the Saint-Henri area. At once a benevolent wish for the future and a testimony to deep history, the work is rooted in the territory, with its bodies of water and flora, and in the way it has been exploited over the centuries. Guided by a reflection on the well-being of the territory’s past, present and future inhabitants, the work recalls the presence of Lac à la Loutre and the Saint-Pierre River, which once flowed through Saint-Henri.
